In 1959 Oscar Mitson started an Independent Insurance Agency and began insuring his friends and neighbors in the Fort Wayne area. Mr. Mitson’s first office was on the old Fort Wayne National Bank building downtown. Through the years, the office has moved several times and is currently located on the Georgetown Square shopping area.

The Oscar C Mitson Insurance Agency now has clients in over twenty states. In addition to personal Home and Automobile policies, we insure a wide range of commercial enterprises. We currently insure manufacturers, restaurants, churches, schools, wholesalers, contractors, retail stores and other types of businesses.
